Today, I am delighted to have been accepted into the South West Authors Facebook group. This is a private group whose members are primarily writers based in the south-west of England.
The group has almost 600 members and appears to be very active with several new posts each day. I am looking forward to having a forum where I can exchange ideas with fellow authors and can both provide and receive support from them. Writing can be quite solitary. With the Coronavirus lockdown, there is no opportunity to meet face-to-face, but writing does lend itself well to online forums.
I have already posted a scene from my current novel in progress for others to provide feedback because it concerns a sensitive subject and I need to get it just right. It will be interesting to see what responses I receive.
